Your meter data is stored in the EKM Push database according to UTC timestamps (this is GMT). In order to display the data according to your local time we need to know which timezone to adjust it to. When you create your Encompass account you can now select which timezone you want to adjust your data to. If you click on the box with the timezone in it you will be give a list of timezone options to choose from. Select one according to your local time or the time where your meters are located.
If you created your Encompass before March 22, 2017 then you wouldn't have had the option to set your timezone when you created your account. The good news is that you can also adjust your timezone from within your account. To do so:
- Login to your Encompass account
- Click the account link in the header
- Click the Timezone text box
- Select the timezone you want
- Click "Save" when you are ready
- Click the dashboard link in the header
Your timezone has now been set for all of the meters in your account. If you select one of your meters from the column on the left, your widgets will load with their time adjust according to the timezone you selected.
